We’re Oddly Even

We’re oddly even,
we are divisible by two,
but not by more,
so it’s just me and you.

You and I make a whole,
I think you are the one!
We must be positive,
and be in for the long run.

I think you’re prime.
I must be two (too).
We are superperfect
give us our due.

Oddly even (singly even) numbers are numbers divisible by 2 but not 4.
Whole numbers are members of the set of positive integers including zero.
Prime numbers are only divisible by 1 and itself.
2 is the first oddly even number, the first prime number and the first superperfect number!
